INDIANA — A motorcyclist has died following a crash on Indianapolis’ near north side Thursday evening, according to police.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) said officers were called around 5:30 p.m. on April 16 to a reported personal injury crash in the 3300 block of North College Avenue, near East 33rd Street and East Fall Creek Parkway North Drive.
When officers arrived, they found a crash involving a motorcycle and a black sedan. Police said the motorcyclist, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. He later died from his injuries the following day.
The driver of the sedan, an adult female, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. She was taken to a hospital for a blood draw, which is standard procedure. Police said there were no signs of impairment or intoxication.
The crash remains under investigation.
