
OHIO — A crash involving a semi-truck caused major disruptions Thursday afternoon at the interchange of Interstate 77 and Interstate 480 in Cleveland.
According to officials, the crash occurred on I-480 westbound near I-77 southbound. The impact caused the semi-truck to end up on nearby RTA rapid transit tracks.
Traffic in the area was affected as a result of the crash. Authorities reported that the right shoulder of the ramp from I-480 west to I-71 south was blocked, leading to delays.
Multiple police officers responded to the scene and worked to remove the semi-truck from the tracks.
No information has been released regarding possible injuries.
