KENTUCKY — A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Rowan County, according to the Rowan County Coroner’s Office.
The crash occurred in the area of 2300 KY 801 North. Officials said the operator of the motorcycle, identified as 23-year-old Christopher Adkins, was transported to UK St. Claire HealthCare, where he was pronounced dead by Rowan County Coroner John Northcutt.
The coroner’s office said the crash remains under investigation by accident reconstructionists with Kentucky State Police.
Authorities said Adkins’ body has been taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
