OHIO — One woman has died and another was seriously injured following a crash in Columbiana County Tuesday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 2:40 p.m. on state Route 173 near mile post 11. Investigators said a Jeep Grand Cherokee traveled left of center and collided with a Nissan Rogue.
Chelsea Miller, 35, died at Salem Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities said Miller was the driver of the Nissan.
The driver of the Jeep, identified as a 78-year-old woman from Salem, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
