
NORTH CAROLINA — One person was injured in a shooting Tuesday morning in north Raleigh, according to police.
Officers with the Raleigh Police Department responded to a call just before 10:30 a.m. reporting a shooting in the parking lot of the Food Lion on Creedmoor Road. When they arrived, they confirmed that one person had been shot.
Police said the victim later walked into a local hospital for treatment. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been released.
No arrests have been made as of Tuesday afternoon, and investigators have not provided details about a suspect or what may have led to the shooting.
