KENTUCKY — The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office has launched a death investigation after a body was discovered Monday afternoon in Horse Branch.
According to officials, Ohio County Central Dispatch received a report of a deceased male at approximately 1:39 p.m. Deputies responded to the scene, where the body was located.
Authorities said the man appeared to be in his 30s. His identity has not been released, and no additional details about the circumstances surrounding his death were immediately available.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that an investigation is now underway. Officials have not said whether foul play is suspected.
The case remains active, and more information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
