MISSISSIPPI — A teenage girl has died following a stabbing in Kosciusko, and another teen is now facing a murder charge.
According to authorities, the incident happened late Monday afternoon on Lucas Street. Attala County Coroner Sam Bell said 15-year-old Ta’khia Fletcher and 16-year-old Nina Dillon were involved in a fight when Dillon was stabbed.
Dillon was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Attala, where she later died from her injuries.
Fletcher has been taken into custody and is being held without bond at the Leake County Correctional Facility. She has been charged with murder.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details have been released at this time.
