MISSISSIPPI — A Columbus woman died Saturday night following a two-vehicle crash in Tupelo, according to local authorities.
Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green identified the victim as 28-year-old Maia Murray of Columbus. Murray was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
The collision happened around 10 p.m. on March 14 on North Gloster Street. According to Green, a second vehicle struck the vehicle Murray was riding in on her side.
Murray was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Tupelo Police Department is investigating the crash. Authorities have not released additional details as the investigation continues.
