
MISSISSIPPI — A 35-year-old Gulfport man has been arrested in connection with a cutting that left two people injured Monday night, according to the Gulfport Police Department.
Officers responded to a reported cutting around 9:40 p.m. on Palmer Drive. When they arrived, police found two individuals suffering from cut wounds. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.
Authorities identified the suspect as Shaun Andrew Lawler. He was taken into custody shortly after the incident and charged with aggravated domestic assault and aggravated assault.
Officials said the incident stemmed from Lawler reportedly being awake for several days due to the use of narcotics.
Lawler was processed and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. His bond was set at $400,000.
