MISSISSIPPI — One person was ejected from a vehicle during a rollover crash on Interstate 20 in Rankin County on Monday, according to Sheriff Bryan Bailey.
The crash involved an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle and occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-20 near mile marker 66.
Sheriff Bailey said the right eastbound lane is blocked as a result of the crash. The left lane remains open, but traffic is significantly backed up in the area.
Rankin County deputies are assisting the Pelahatchie Police Department at the scene.
Additional details about the condition of the person who was ejected were not immediately available.
