MISSISSIPPI — A 20-year-old construction worker died Thursday afternoon in a workplace accident in Corinth, according to local officials.
Conner Dabbs, of Smithville, was killed while working on a bridge project on Polk Street, Alcorn County Coroner Jay Jones confirmed.
Dabbs was employed by Cook & Son Construction, a company based in Smithville.
Details about how the accident occurred were not immediately released. Authorities have not said whether the incident remains under investigation.
