
MISSISSIPPI — An individual was stabbed multiple times with a screwdriver Thursday at a furniture plant in Okolona, according to police.
Okolona Police Chief Tommy Ivy confirmed the incident but said details remain limited. The stabbing occurred sometime Thursday, and officers responded to the scene.
The victim was transported to a hospital in Tupelo for medical treatment. The individual’s condition has not been released.
Police said Rayshon Darden was arrested and charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident. Darden was given a $25,000 bond.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further information has been released at this time.
