TEXAS — A Powerball ticket sold in Texas matched four white balls and the Powerball to win a $50,000 prize in Saturday night’s drawing.
The winning numbers for the May 30 Powerball drawing were 1, 27, 35, 44 and 52, with the Powerball number 12. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
Texas Lottery officials have not yet announced where in the state the winning ticket was purchased.
The estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing was $170 million, with a cash value of $75.9 million at the time of the drawing. No ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, offering players the opportunity to win prizes ranging from a few dollars to multi-million-dollar jackpots. A ticket that matches four white balls and the Powerball wins a base prize of $50,000.
Players are encouraged to check their tickets carefully and contact the Texas Lottery for information on claiming any prizes.
