OHIO — A Pickerington man says his streak of Ohio Lottery wins continued after he recently claimed a $50,000 scratch-off prize.

According to the Ohio Lottery, Antwan first won $500 playing his birthday numbers, 520, on Pick 3 on his birthday. Lottery officials said he had previously won $50,000 on Pick 5 in November and another $10,000 on a Billion Scratch-Off ticket in March.

His latest win came May 21 when he purchased several scratch-off tickets at the Turkey Hill Minit Markets #708 on North Cassady Avenue in Columbus.

The Ohio Lottery said Antwan first won $50 on one ticket and used the winnings to buy five more scratch-offs. Four of those tickets were also winners, with prizes ranging from $20 to $50.

He then bought another Extreme Cash Scratch-Off ticket, believing at first it was worth $50. After the clerk scanned the ticket, he learned he had actually won $50,000.

After mandatory state and federal taxes, Antwan will receive about $36,625, according to lottery officials.

He said he plans to use the money for home improvements, updates to a hair salon and a cruise vacation.

“You can’t win unless you play. And I’m going to keep playing,” Antwan said in the release.
