IOWA — An Iowa Lottery player is celebrating a major win after a ticket sold in the state matched enough numbers in the Powerball drawing held Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
The winning numbers for the drawing were 13, 21, 27, 43, 45, and Powerball 26. The Power Play multiplier was 5x.
While no ticket matched all six numbers to claim the estimated $59 million jackpot, the Iowa ticket matched four white balls plus the Powerball. With the Power Play applied, the prize increased to $250,000.
The jackpot had an estimated cash value of $26.7 million. With no grand prize winner, the jackpot is expected to grow for the next drawing.
Officials have not yet announced where in Iowa the winning ticket was sold. Lottery officials advise the winner to sign the back of the ticket and contact the Iowa Lottery to claim the prize.
