VIRGINIA — A $2 million winning Powerball ticket was sold in Virginia for Monday night’s drawing, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers for the May 18, 2026, Powerball drawing were 4, 13, 34, 61 and 65, with a Powerball of 12. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
While no ticket matched all six numbers to claim the estimated $101 million jackpot, one ticket sold in Virginia matched all five white ball numbers to win a $2 million prize. The ticket’s value was doubled because the Power Play option was purchased.
The jackpot for the drawing had an estimated cash value of $44.5 million at the time of the drawing.
Powerball drawings are held three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights. Players who match all five white balls without the Powerball win $1 million, while purchasing the Power Play can increase non-jackpot prizes.
