INDIANA — An Indiana lottery player is celebrating a major win after matching four white balls and the Powerball in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing to claim a $150,000 prize.
The winning numbers drawn Wednesday, May 6, were 18, 27, 51, 65 and 68, with the Powerball number 5. The Power Play multiplier was 3x.
Lottery officials said the jackpot for the drawing was estimated at $31 million, with a cash value of $14 million at the time of the drawing.
The Indiana ticket won $150,000 after the Power Play feature tripled the standard $50,000 prize for matching four numbers plus the Powerball.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, meaning the grand prize will continue to grow for the next drawing.
