$1 million Powerball ticket sold in Ohio

OHIO — A lucky lottery player in Ashtabula County is $1 million richer after purchasing a winning Powerball ticket at the Conneaut Clark Station.

The ticket matched all five white ball numbers in Wednesday’s drawing — 1, 20, 36, 28, and 43 — but missed the Powerball number, which was 24.

While the ticket did not hit the jackpot, it secured the game’s second-highest prize of $1 million.

The estimated Powerball jackpot has now climbed to $263 million, with the next drawing scheduled for Saturday.

Players have until 10 p.m. on drawing days to purchase tickets.

Conneaut Clark Station is located in the city of Conneaut, which sits along the shores of Lake Erie in northeastern Ohio.

The identity of the winner has not yet been revealed.
