OHIO — With Thanksgiving officially over in Ohio, it’s time to reveal what Ohioans most favorite dish was this year.
According to the Food Network, it was pretty basic.
The Food Network reports that the top Thanksgiving dish/recipe favored by Ohioans is your normal stuffing.
The Food Network stated the following in its explanation:
“Ohioans know that basic doesn’t mean boring. This simple stuffing is packed with fresh ingredients like apples, sage, thyme and parsley”
Stuffing, a classic Thanksgiving dish, typically consists of bread cubes mixed with herbs, spices, vegetables, and sometimes meat, all moistened with broth and baked.
It pairs perfectly with turkey and captures the essence of traditional holiday flavors.
The Food Network might have selected stuffing as Ohio’s favorite dish because of its versatility, regional variations, and its central role in holiday feasts.
