One person arrested following drug bust in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA — A Greenville man is facing multiple felony charges after deputies discovered a significant quantity of drugs in his apartment, the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Deputies arrested 36-year-old O’Joshua Roberts on Tuesday afternoon at his residence on Winslow Point Drive.

According to arrest warrants, Roberts had been selling drugs from his apartment at 416 Winslow Point Drive.

Court documents state that investigators found more than four pounds of marijuana, nearly a pound of cocaine, heroin, and a dozen MDMA pills during the search.

Roberts is charged with felony trafficking in cocaine, felony trafficking in opium or heroin, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver marijuana and MDMA, felony maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is being held at the Pitt County Jail on a $750,000 secured bond.
