Multiple inches of snow expected across Ohio Sunday

OHIO — Residents across Ohio should prepare for a cold and snowy weekend as temperatures drop and snow accumulations vary by region.

According to AccuWeather, in Toledo, Saturday’s high will reach 36°F before plummeting to 15°F at night. Sunday will be even colder, with a high of 22°F and a low of 5°F. Snowfall is expected to range between 1 and 3 inches.

Columbus will see a high of 37°F on Saturday with a low of 20°F, followed by a sharp drop to 22°F on Sunday with a low of 2°F. Snow accumulation will be between 1 and 2 inches.

In Cleveland, temperatures will reach 39°F on Saturday before dropping to 21°F at night. Sunday will see a high of 24°F and a low of 9°F, with 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.

Cincinnati will experience slightly warmer temperatures on Saturday, with a high of 40°F and a low of 22°F. Sunday will be much colder, with a high of 26°F and a low of 2°F. Snowfall is expected to be minimal, with just a dusting.

The heaviest snow will fall in Ashtabula, where residents can expect 4 to 6 inches. Saturday’s high will reach 38°F before dropping to 20°F, and Sunday’s temperatures will range from a high of 23°F to a low of 11°F.

With freezing temperatures and snowfall across much of the state, residents should take precautions when traveling and prepare for winter conditions.
