FLORIDA — Thousands of Florida residents are without electricity Wednesday morning, according to data from PowerOutage.com, as scattered outages were reported across several parts of the state.

As of the latest update early Wednesday, approximately 5,221 customers were reported without power statewide out of more than 11.7 million customers being tracked. The outages were spread across multiple counties, with no single area experiencing widespread system failure.

Marion County reported the highest number of outages, with about 1,801 customers without electricity. Volusia County followed with 1,321 outages. In South Florida, Miami-Dade County had 508 customers without power, while Palm Beach County reported 492 outages.

Other counties with notable outages included Collier County with 240 customers affected, Levy County with 124, Gilchrist County with 111, and Brevard County with 104 customers without power.

Restoration efforts were ongoing Wednesday morning, and customers were advised to report outages directly to their utility companies and monitor updates for estimated restoration times.
