Albert said the driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 8:57 a.m. The victim’s identity has not been released, and investigators have not yet determined what led to the crash.
As a result of the collision, all northbound lanes of Route 23 are closed between State Route 665 and Rathmell Road. Southbound lanes of Route 23 are also closed between Interstate 270 and Route 665.
