NORTH CAROLINA — Two winning Powerball tickets were sold in North Carolina following Monday night’s lottery drawing, according to lottery officials.
The drawing was held Monday, Dec. 29, 2025. The winning numbers were 11, 19, 34, 48, 53, with the Powerball number 21. The Power Play option for the drawing was 2x.
One ticket sold in North Carolina won $100,000, while another ticket sold in the state won $50,000. The prizes were awarded after the tickets matched a combination of the drawn numbers, with the higher prize benefiting from the Power Play multiplier. Officials have not yet released the locations where the winning tickets were purchased.
No ticket matched all six numbers to claim the jackpot. The estimated jackpot for the drawing was $34 million, with a cash value of approximately $15.8 million.
Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets carefully, sign the back of winning tickets, and follow North Carolina Lottery guidelines when claiming prizes.
