FLORIDA — Three people were killed late Sunday night in a fiery, three-vehicle wrong-way crash in Loxahatchee, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash occurred at approximately 10:57 p.m. in the 19700 block of State Road 80, west of Lion Country Safari and near the Arden residential community. Investigators determined that a 2011 Toyota Tacoma, driven by an unidentified man, turned from southbound Arden Lake Way onto eastbound State Road 80 but entered the westbound travel lanes.
A 2017 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 51-year-old Sasha Treadway of Westland, Michigan, and a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport driven by 24-year-old Bradley King of West Palm Beach were both traveling westbound when the Tacoma approached head-on, deputies said.
The front of the Tacoma struck the front of the Chevrolet, causing the Equinox to be pushed south into the path of the Ford. Authorities said the Bronco attempted to swerve but collided with the Chevrolet.
Following the impact, the Toyota Tacoma came to rest in the center lane and became fully engulfed in flames. The Chevrolet stopped in the grass median facing north, while the Ford was brought to a controlled stop just east of Arden Lake Way.
The driver of the Toyota Tacoma, whose identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin, was killed. Treadway and her passenger, 37-year-old Kristara Lasalle-Corujo of Cape Coral, also died as a result of the crash. King was not injured.
Authorities said all occupants were wearing seat belts. The crash remains under investigation.
