
OHIO — More than 32,000 customers across Ohio are without power as of Monday morning, according to data from PowerOutage.com.
The outage tracking website reported 32,569 customers without electricity statewide out of approximately 5.36 million customers being monitored. The outages are spread across multiple regions, with northeastern and central Ohio reporting the highest numbers.
Cuyahoga County has the most outages, with 6,686 customers without power. Lake County followed with 4,058 outages, while Portage County reported 3,689 customers affected. In Ashtabula County, 1,862 customers were without service.
Central Ohio also saw significant impacts, with Franklin County reporting 1,738 outages. Marion and Richland counties each reported more than 1,700 customers without power, while Geauga County had 1,071 outages.
Utility crews were working to restore service, though no estimated restoration times were immediately available. Power outage numbers can fluctuate as repairs are made and additional outages are reported. Residents are encouraged to report outages to their utility providers and use caution around downed power lines.
