
FLORIDA — Thousands of Florida residents are without electricity Sunday morning, according to outage data compiled by PowerOutage.com.
As of the most recent update, approximately 4,614 customers across the state were reported without power out of more than 11.7 million customers tracked.
The largest number of outages was concentrated in Broward County, where about 2,111 customers were without service. Hillsborough County reported the second-highest total, with approximately 1,773 customers affected.
Additional outages were reported in Leon County, where around 600 customers were without power. Smaller numbers of outages were scattered across several other counties, including Palm Beach County with 69 customers affected, Miami-Dade County with 32, Brevard County with 11, and Collier and Duval counties with three customers each.
The outage information was updated minutes before the report was generated, and totals may continue to change as crews work to restore service. No specific cause for the outages was immediately listed in the statewide summary, and estimated restoration times were not provided in the data.
