
SOUTH CAROLINA — The Horry County Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 3:30 a.m. in the 6000 block of Highway 905. When officers arrived at the scene, they found one person who had been injured.
Police said the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. No additional details about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the shooting were immediately released.
Horry County police stated the incident is believed to be isolated and does not pose an ongoing threat to the public. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not announced any arrests or suspects at this time.
