ALABAMA — A Guntersville woman was killed Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Marshall County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
ALEA identified the victim as 25-year-old Kayla S. Wise of Guntersville. Troopers said the crash occurred at approximately 11:41 a.m. on Needmore Road, about two miles west of Albertville.
According to ALEA, Wise was driving an SUV when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree, and caught fire. Wise was fatally injured in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were reported to be involved. The crash remains under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
