
OHIO — An Avon woman is celebrating the holidays after winning a $150,000 prize on an Ohio Lottery scratch-off ticket.
According to the Ohio Lottery, the woman purchased a $5 Cash Explosion 25X ticket that turned out to be a top winner. After federal and state tax withholdings, she will receive approximately $109,312.
The winning ticket was sold at Speedway #3691, located at 1555 Pearl Road in Brunswick.
Cash Explosion 25X is a $5 scratch-off game that offers overall odds of winning of 1 in 3.77 and features more than $27 million in total prizes. Lottery officials said that as of December 26, 2025, six top prizes remain unclaimed.
