FLORIDA — All southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike are closed Friday morning in Osceola County following a multi-vehicle crash, according to authorities.
The crash occurred on Florida’s Turnpike South before Exit 249. As a result, traffic is backed up for several miles, extending to Exit 251 on State Road 417.
Drivers are advised to expect significant delays and to seek alternate routes while emergency crews respond to the scene. No information on injuries or the cause of the crash was immediately available.
Authorities have not provided an estimated time for when the roadway will reopen.
