GEORGIA — A 67-year-old man died after crashing his car into a northwest Atlanta home on Christmas Day, according to police.
Atlanta police said the crash occurred Thursday evening at a residence in the 700 block of Harwell Road in the Collier Heights neighborhood, near Interstate 285.
The driver was transported to a hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries, police said. Authorities have not released the man’s identity.
It remains unclear whether anyone inside the home was injured as a result of the crash. Police did not provide details about what led to the vehicle leaving the roadway and striking the house.
The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information has been released.
