MICHIGAN — A Toledo man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Monroe County on Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
Joshua Wilson, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash, which occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. in Erie Township, about four miles north of the Ohio-Michigan state line.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Wilson was driving southbound on Telegraph Road, just south of East Temperance Road, when his sedan left the roadway for reasons that remain unknown. The vehicle entered a ditch and struck a tree. Investigators said Wilson was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Services Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
