OHIO — A 33-year-old man was shot Christmas Eve in Akron, according to police.
Officers with the Akron Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 8:26 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of West Market Street.
When officers arrived, they found a 33-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately released.
The shooting remains under investigation.
