FLORIDA — A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of a condominium complex near The Mall at Millenia, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to The Greens Condominiums, located near the intersection of Oak Ridge Road and PGA Boulevard, at about 2:30 p.m. Investigators said the shooting occurred in the complex’s parking lot, just a few blocks south of The Mall at Millenia.
When deputies arrived, they found the teenage victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional details about a suspect or the circumstances leading up to the shooting were immediately released. The investigation remains ongoing.
