Thousands without power in Texas

TEXAS — Thousands of Texans are without electricity Tuesday morning as scattered power outages continued across the state, according to data from PowerOutage.com.

As of the latest update early Tuesday, approximately 3,954 customers were reported without power statewide out of more than 15.4 million customers tracked. While the overall percentage of outages remained low, several counties reported higher concentrations of customers affected.

Tarrant County recorded the largest number of outages, with about 1,486 customers without electricity. Caldwell County followed with 535 outages, while Harris County reported 412 customers affected.

Additional outages were reported in Brazoria County, where 230 customers were without power, and Montgomery County with 163 outages. Smaller numbers were also reported in Colorado County with 126 customers out, Dallas County with 107, and Hartley County with 75.

Residents experiencing outages were encouraged to report issues directly to their local utility companies for updates and restoration estimates.
