VIRGINIA — Police in Chesterfield are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old boy after issuing an emergency alert early Monday.
According to the Chesterfield Police Department, an emergency alert was sent out on Monday, Dec. 22, as officers searched for Brayden Farrar, who was reported missing. Police said Farrar is white and was last seen wearing a black NASA hoodie and gray windbreaker-style sweatpants.
In a press release issued at 9:37 a.m. Monday, police said Farrar has autism and is believed to be a runaway. Authorities said his last known location was at Rockwood Office Park in the Midlothian area of Chesterfield County, where he was seen just after midnight.
Police have released a photo of Farrar to assist in the search and are urging anyone who may have seen him or has information about his whereabouts to come forward.
