
KENTUCKY — Power outages have been reported across several parts of Kentucky as of Saturday afternoon, according to data from PowerOutage.com.
Statewide, approximately 2,596 customers are without electricity out of more than 2.46 million customers tracked. While the overall percentage of outages remained low, several eastern and central Kentucky counties reported higher concentrations of customers without power.
Pike County reported the largest number of outages, with about 591 customers affected. Powell County followed closely with 587 customers without service.
Letcher County reported 493 outages, while Knott County had 162 customers without power. Perry County reported 126 outages, and Allen County reported 122. Smaller numbers of outages were also reported in Harlan County, with 88 customers affected, and Martin County, with 84 customers without service.
Residents experiencing outages are encouraged to report them directly to their utility providers and take precautions until power is fully restored.
