OHIO — A Pickaway County resident is celebrating a six-figure lottery win after purchasing a scratch-off ticket in Circleville.
Heather, of Circleville, won $100,000 after buying a $10 Winter Green scratch-off ticket, according to the Ohio Lottery. The ticket was purchased at Little Bear Market, located at 131 Harrison St. in Circleville.
The $100,000 prize is the game’s second-tier award. After state and federal taxes totaling 27.125 percent, Heather will receive a net payout of $72,875.
Winter Green is a $10 scratch-off game with a top prize of $500,000 and more than $4 million available in total cash prizes ranging from $25 to $100.
