TENNESSEE — A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Tennessee following Wednesday night’s drawing, even though no one won the game’s top jackpot.
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, December 17, 2025, drawing were 25, 33, 53, 62 and 66, with the Powerball number 17.
The Power Play multiplier was 4x. Lottery officials said at least one ticket sold in Tennessee matched the five white balls to claim the $1 million second-tier prize.
No tickets matched all six numbers, leaving the Powerball jackpot unclaimed. As a result, the estimated jackpot for the next drawing, scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025, has grown to $1.50 billion. The estimated cash value of the jackpot is $686.5 million.
Powerball officials remind players to check their tickets carefully, as additional lower-tier prizes were also won nationwide.
