
PENNSYLVANIA — Widespread school delays, modified schedules, and closures have been announced across Pennsylvania for Monday, December 15, 2025, as districts respond to winter weather conditions affecting road safety and morning travel.
The majority of school districts across Fayette, Washington, Greene, Westmoreland, Allegheny, Schuylkill, Adams, York, Lancaster, Indiana, Columbia, Montour, and Northumberland counties will operate on a two-hour delay.
Among them are Albert Gallatin, Brownsville, Canon-McMillan, Charleroi, East Allegheny, Laurel Highlands, Ringgold, Trinity Area, Washington School District, West Greene, Central York, Dallastown, Eastern York, Hempfield, Penn Manor, Solanco, Spring Grove, South Eastern, Southern York County, and York Suburban, along with numerous charter, private, and career and technical schools.
Several districts noted modified kindergarten schedules, including Canon-McMillan, Cocalico, Donegal, Penn Manor, and Hempfield, while some schools reported no morning kindergarten or breakfast service. Gettysburg Montessori Charter School will open at 10 a.m. York Learning Center will operate on a remote learning day for all sessions, and Northampton Community College–Pocono announced a full closure.
Additionally, Adams County Head Start is closed for both morning and afternoon sessions, while career and technical centers across the region will follow delayed schedules.
