OHIO — The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio, is forecasting two rounds of accumulating snow that could disrupt travel across much of the region from Thursday night through Saturday.

According to forecasters, the first system will move in tonight, bringing 2 to 4 inches of snow by early Friday morning.

The timing of the snowfall is expected to impact the Friday morning commute, with slick roads and reduced visibility likely, especially in central and southwest Ohio.

A second system is expected to follow closely behind. Beginning Saturday afternoon and continuing into Saturday night, another 2 to 4 inches of snow may accumulate across the area. The NWS says this additional snowfall could create renewed travel hazards heading into the weekend.

Forecast maps show widespread totals between 2 and 4 inches for both events, with locally higher amounts possible. Residents are advised to monitor updates and prepare for potentially hazardous road conditions during both rounds of snowfall.
