GEORGIA — Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that left a man in his 30s dead Monday morning in southwest Atlanta.
Officers were called to the 3000 block of Cornell Boulevard after reports of a person shot. When they arrived, they found the victim’s body on the ground near a car parked along the street. Police have not yet released the man’s identity, and it is unclear if the vehicle belonged to him.
Investigators have not announced a suspect or motive. Detectives are collecting ballistic evidence at the scene and reviewing surveillance footage from nearby cameras.
