FLORIDA — A man was pronounced dead Saturday after his motorcycle crashed into a utility pole on State Road 62, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The accident occurred at about 11:10 a.m. near Methodist Church Road.
Troopers said the westbound motorcyclist veered off the roadway, entered the north grass shoulder, and struck a utility pole. He died at the scene.
Authorities have not released the man’s identity.
The crash remains under investigation.
