INDIANA — A Darke County teacher has been arrested following allegations that he had sexual contact with a student-athlete, according to police in Indiana.
The Union City Police Department reported that James “Jim” Robson, a teacher at Ansonia Local Schools and former golf coach, was taken into custody after an investigation into claims of inappropriate conduct with a student. Authorities said the incidents occurred on multiple occasions and date back to 2012.
Following the completion of the investigation, Robson was formally charged with three counts of child seduction. He is currently being held at the Randolph County Sheriff’s Jail on a $15,000 cash bond.
The case remains under investigation.
