NORTH CAROLINA — Several schools across North Carolina will have delays or closures on Friday, December 5, 2025, due to winter weather conditions.
Millers Creek Christian School in Millers Creek, Wilkes County, will open two hours late Friday morning. The Northwest Group in Elkin, Surry County, will open at 8:00 a.m.
Triad Baptist Christian Academy in Kernersville, Forsyth County, will remain closed all day Friday, including the morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. Similarly, Triad Baptist Christian Preschool will be closed throughout the day.
Wilkes Transportation Authority in North Wilkesboro will operate on a limited schedule Friday morning, opening at 8:00 a.m., and will follow snow routes during the afternoon and evening.
Parents and students are advised to check with their schools for the latest updates and plan accordingly for transportation and class schedules.
