KENTUCKY — The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office in Kentucky announced the arrest of a Sebree man Wednesday evening following a lengthy investigation that began in August.
Deputies said Abel Echeverria was taken into custody on December 1, 2025, on an Ohio County arrest and indictment warrant. He was booked into the Ohio County Detention Center on multiple charges.
According to the sheriff’s office, the charges include third-degree rape, procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means, second-degree interference with legislative proceedings, and first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor involving an illegal sex act with a person under 18.
Authorities did not release additional details as the investigation remains ongoing.
