SOUTH CAROLINA — A Cayce man was arrested Tuesday following an undercover operation targeting drug trafficking, authorities said.
Police identified the suspect as Roheem Bell, who faces charges of trafficking methamphetamine, cocaine, and crack cocaine, as well as possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
The arrest came after controlled purchases from a known drug dealer led officers to Bell, according to the Cayce Police Department.
“We are proud of the diligent, coordinated efforts of our officers and investigators whose proactive work continues to disrupt illegal drug activity and enhance safety throughout the City of Cayce,” said Cayce Police Chief Bruce Wade.
As of Wednesday, Bell was being held at the Lexington County Detention Center on a $345,000 bond.
