OHIO — Ohio could see widespread snowfall beginning Monday night, raising the possibility of school closures on Tuesday as winter weather moves into the region.
As conditions develop, students and teachers wondering about the likelihood of a snow day can use an online tool known as the Snow Day Calculator.
The tool, created by an MIT student, uses National Weather Service data to estimate the chances that schools may close based on local forecasts.
Users simply enter their ZIP code to receive a prediction.
