
SOUTH CAROLINA — A pedestrian was killed Monday morning in Greenville County, authorities said.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office reported that multiple 911 calls came in around 6:30 a.m. reporting a person struck in the 3400 block of Wade Hampton Boulevard. First responders arrived to find the individual dead at the scene.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the pedestrian was in the roadway when they were hit by a Ford Escape.
The incident remains under investigation.
